All participants are encouraged to ride their bikes to the Pedal starting area at Lowcountry Celebration Park.  Should it be necessary to drive, please park at the University of South Carolina Beaufort-Hilton Head Campus at 1 Sand Shark Dr., a 1-mile pathway ride/walk to the start/finish area.  Google Maps Link

Registrations placed by Sunday, April 1 will have credentials and shirts mailed prior to the event to avoid the lines at packet pick-up! Pedal-For-a-Kid registrations made by February 25 will be guaranteed jerseys in time for the ride.  For riders not receiving their packets by mail, there will be Saturday afternoon (place/time TBD) and Sunday morning pre-ride pick-up available.

Pedal is a charity recreational ride, not a race!  Each route/pace group will have ride ambassadors to assist with pacing, entry into the gated communities and safe navigation around the island.  For the controlled portions (law enforcement escort) of the 62- and 40-mile routes, riders are to stay with their respective groups until the completion of the escort.  Please remember: paces are averages.  At times, the groups may be faster or slower than the published paces.

Ride Day Schedule (subject to change):

• Late packet pick-up opens at 6:30am / No event day registration
• Line-up & announcements 15 minutes prior to each start
• 62 starts @ 7:30am
• 40 starts @ 8:15am
• 30 starts @ 8:45am
• 20 starts @ 9:15am
• 10 starts @ 9:30am
• Club member ride starts @ 10:00am
• Post-ride meal and refreshments starting at 10:45am

Included with a Pedal-for-a-Kid registration or purchase for $75. Purchase by March 3rd for delivery in time for the ride. Orders received after March 3rd will be delivered in June.
